An app called Lulu is emerging as a controversial new social platform that allows women to post reviews and recommendations about former flames.

The app, which is available for iOS and Android, is for women only.

Men are denied access to Lulu, deeming it a “safe zone” for females to rate dudes on a various topics, from humor and careers to kissing and sex.

John Malkovich saved a man’s life in Toronto over the weekend.

According to the CBC Toronto News, the 59-year old movie star was walking around the city on Thursday when he heard a cry for help and found 77-year old Jim Walpole had fallen on the sidewalk, badly cutting open his neck.

With wife Marilyn pleading for help from bystanders, Malkovich showed up and took over “just like a doctor,” she said, using a scarf to apply pressure and stop the bleeding.

A shooting has taken place at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California.

The suspected gunman is in custody, and reports currently place the injured count at four, with one reported dead.

The injured are currently being treated at UCLA Medical Center, with two victims in critical condition.

Officials have apparently placed the school under lockdown, with a possible second gunman being sought.

Calls came in around noon PT, reporting a man wielding several weapons firing at vehicles outside the college.

Two bodies have also been found inside a Santa Monica house with one woman suffering from a bullet wound, found outside the house in a car. It is not yet clear if these incidents are related.
